The Leaf Boonie Hat is an updated variant of the classic headwear, introduced by the US during the Vietnam War and employed by multiple countries in other conflicts. While designed primarily for use in hot tropical climates, the Boonie hat saw widespread use in various biomes and is considered one of the most popular hats used by the military.

The Leaf model is manufactured from high-quality rip-stop textiles in solid colors and various camouflage patterns. It features several improvements over the original design.
